Luvi, which means light person in the Hittite language, came from our customer. A logo design and presentation document were demanded from us for Luvi, the restaurant that wants to live Anatolian kitchen culture in İstanbul. For Luvi, our starting point was the word “feeling in real place”. In the presentation we showed "the feeling in real place" with similar descriptions without repeating ourselves. In order to capture the meaning of the origin of the word Luwi, we used the sub-title Fire of Anatolia. From the myth of Prometheus, who stole the fire and gave it to people, we came up with a story that is compatible with the philosophical readings of the source of the light and the radiant Latin origin lux and lumen expressions.
