We started the research for the name of the restaurant that will serve in the concept of Gastro&Pub, which brings together gourmet tastes and pub type.
Our journey through the history of Gastro&Pub and the regions where Gastro&Pub-style venues in Istanbul were opened and the preferred structures revealed high-ceilinged structures in our imagination.
What can not fit in high ceiling spaces? But didn't we need a solid characteristic name to carry this field?
With a simple Googlism definition, the name given to the "vertical structural element in the carrier system" is the Kolon(Coloum). In our imagination, huge aesthetic structures supporting altars and temples in ancient buildings.
Considering the aesthetic elements in the logo design of our restaurant, which we named Colon by starting out here; By using our letters in the most effective way, we placed an image facing us from the opposite side. Thus, a characteristic, robust design that bears the name of the column emerged.
